Terms for creating and sharing your band video
Last updated October 30, 2026
These terms apply when you use Tiny Desk AI Generator to upload photos, purchase a credit pack or generate a video. The service edits a predefined Outstanding performance clip; it is not an open-ended video editor or an official concert service.
The service and the source performance
Tiny Desk AI Generator provides an independent tool for AI parody edits of the Outstanding Tiny Desk clip. Use is for personal, non-commercial sharing. NPR, Tiny Desk Concerts, Charlie Wilson and The Gap Band do not operate, endorse or sponsor this service; Tiny Desk is an NPR trademark. Rights in the reference footage and music remain with their owners. A payment buys generation credits, not ownership of that footage, a music licence or permission to use the result in advertising. Rights-holder removal requests are handled through the DMCA process linked below.
Who can appear in the edit
- Obvious parody featuring public figures—including coaches, players and celebrities—is permitted by this service’s rules. That permission does not transfer any rights belonging to the people depicted or to other rights holders.
- Everyone in an uploaded photo must be 18 or older. Do not upload a private person’s photo when they would not agree to appear in the video.
- You retain the rights you hold in your photographs. Uploading gives us permission to use them to carry out the requested generation, not for unrelated uses.
Personal parody and platform sharing
- You may share a result as a personal, non-commercial parody—for example in a group chat, a personal social post or at a private party.
- Do not present an AI edit as a genuine performance, use it to harass or embarrass someone, or place it in an advertisement or endorsement.
- A social platform may mute the soundtrack or remove a post under its own music and content rules. Generating a video here does not override those rules.
What a credit pack pays for
Generation uses credits bought in one-time packs. There is no subscription, credits do not expire, and the price is displayed before checkout. Credits are not cash and cannot be redeemed for money except under the refund policy. The policy distinguishes automatic credit returns from refunds to the original payment method.
Likeness, motion and refused requests
The model aims to carry the uploaded face into the reference performance; it does not promise a frame-perfect copy of the person. Likeness and motion can vary with the image. A provider may refuse a photo or request, and a refused generation returns the credits used for that video.
Content removal and account restrictions
We may refuse a generation, remove material or close an account when these terms are breached. We also remove material in response to valid rights-holder notices. The reporting and counter-notice process is described on the DMCA and removal page.
Service limitations
The service is supplied as is. Where the law permits a limitation of liability, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us during the preceding 12 months.
Changes to these terms
The date at the top records the latest revision. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
